Updates to Navitour in the October 11, 2006 Release

New Navitour Navigation

Menu page is now integrated into the left sidebar. Users will find everything there that they have traditionally used plus some additional options. More detailed descriptions can be found below.

Direct Access

This module includes the "Tab" function recently released. Otherwise it is equivalent to the previous functionality.

Search Engines

• Air Canada Vacations and Sunwing: Search functionality mirrors that used with Comnet ShopperPlus/Selloffs (except only packages are currently available). Please see below for new features, etc.
• Comnet ShopperPlus/Selloffs: These include the following NEW features (and more)!
  • "Selloffs" is now an integrated option. There is no need to open a new page to switch to Selloff product only - simply click on the appropriate check box.
  • "Leaving From" now defaults to the city of user's choice. To change your default city, please contact us at sales@navitour.ca or call us at 905-474-4881 Ext. 227.
  • "Leaving On" calendar now pops up automatically.
  • "Going To" now allows you to pick a region (e.g. "All of Cuba") or pick all destinations ("Search All Destinations").
  • New optional filter "Choose Minimum Star Rating" (package searches only) allows you to choose a minimum hotel standard for your results set.
  • On search, 100 results are shown immediately.
  • Sort results by any field in ascending or descending order.
  • Star ratings are now included for ACV product.
  • Hovering your mouse over a departure or destination city's three-letter airport code will show the full name of the city.
  • After completing a search, you can instantly view only net results or gross results using the "Only Net" and "Only Gross" buttons at the top of the results page.
